Be Happy Because You Have Christ
I was glad when they said unto me let us go in the house of the Lord. In the house of the Lord there is joy and happiness.
We are welcome to another great Sunday in our lives and so far as we have decided to follow Jesus Christ who is the son of man, we can’t let the day go by without saying THANK YOU LORD.
Today out theme of meditation is;
Be Happy Because You Have Christ
Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
When we were kids, I remember we always looked happy all the time because we knew that our parents would care for us even when we does the wrong thing. No matter what wrong we did our parents would stand up all the time for us and will not let anyone to harm us anyway.
This is how our father in Heaven does for us each day, as we move along each day the devil plans a lot of attacks on us but our Father in Heaven protects us from all what they plan against us. Even in our sin God protects and guard us from all plans of the enemy.
We are full of excellence and greatness because we were created in the image and likeness of God. God has given us the power to take dominium over everything on this earth of ours. We are ranked higher above everything of this earth and everything we do or say must surely come to past.
Don’t let the enemy put fear in you or frustrate by keeping you in the state of sadness. You are to be happy all the time and shake all the unhappy moods in your life away because you are in Christ and He is in you, so no plan of the devil can come to past except only if you allow Him to.
Just cry unto the Holy Spirit to fight all your battles for you and you will be amazed how happy you will be for the rest of your life.
You are the only you in this whole universe. See your uniqueness from within. What really defines you? You are what the bible says you are.
Recently, I read a story of an upcoming actress who committed suicide because she wasn't beautiful. According to the story, she used to compare herself with others. What a shame!
As a teacher, there had been times students see me and they make compliments "You look handsome" because of what I wore that day. I always object to such compliments with this reply "Point of correction, I don’t LOOK handsome; I am handsome" Why? because I'm not defined by my dressing.
Today I encourage you not to let others define you by what you wear or make you feel angry, or unhappy all the time but see yourself as the most beautiful/handsome being on earth because you have Christ.
