The Truth Finally Met Them
Such a funny world we live in today, people will never accept that they do not have what it takes to do what they are supposed to do: Until they finally get to a point they can never undo what they have done.
Since our qualification into the African Confederations Cup in Egypt, I knew the Black stars of Ghana never had what it takes to make it to a better place in the tournament. With such a weak team like they had, they also had issues in themselves as a team.
As a country who really wanted to go for the grand prize of the of tournament, they started to have a fight over the captain’s band. Yes, you heard me well. A fight over the captain’s band. Dede Ayew was all out on Asamoah Gyan for his captainship position, which the coach gradually granted him that favour.
Asamoah Gyan had to find a way to quit from the national team, and it took the president of the nation to get him back to the team. But look where that got us to, the coach in his sense never allowed him to play in any of the matches as he is to.
For me, I told my friends we were not even going to make it to the round of 16 in the tournament and wished we lost all the matches we played at the group stages. But grace fell on us and we managed to top our group. And last night, the truth finally met them, they lost to the weakest team of the tournament, Tunisia.
I know there will be a whole lot of headlines on the news and newspapers. I can’t wait to read some of the interesting blasts to the coach and the team as a whole.

I had also read of those captainship stories hehehe. I had to check the group Tunisia was in and indeed they managed only three points!!!
So it means Ghana did not manage to score a goal of their own in both 90 and 120 mins hehehe because technically Ghana's goal was Tunisia own goal!!!
