The tactical and combat training firefighters - „Zielonka 2018”.
The performin exercises of firefighters from State Fire Brigade and Volunteers Fire Brigade from the county of Brzesko. Trainings were held at the sports hall of the school and the forest inspectorate in Brzesko.
On October 17, 2018 there were tactical and combat exercises “Zielonka 2018” with the participation of the Unit Rescue and Firefighting Brzesko, Tarnow, Dabrowa Tarnowska and with all units of the Volunteer Fire Brigades entering the KSRG from the county of Brzesko. The maneuvers were aimed at improving and fixationing skills in the impelementation of rescue and firefighting, chemical-ecological and medicial operations.
The organizer of the training was the State Fire Servis in Brzesko. The place of maneuvers was the sports hall in secondary school NO. 2 in Brzesko and the area of Okocimski Forest District and Okocimski Football Club in Brzesko.
The fire siren on our firehouse in Jadowniki was howleded at 8:32 AM. We were informed about the exercises and submitted the State Fire Servis to the place of mobilization.
The organizers prepared the following assumptions for firemen:
1. Assumption:
At the sport hall in the Secondary School Complex No. 2 in Brzesko at Piastowska Street, during a sport competition one of the fans throws a package with an unknow substance towards on the tribune. The packed it strikes the head of one of the fans by causes him an open wound. The second participant of the meeting rejects the packet further in the stands, thus sprinkling the powder contained in the package. After a while everyone gathered in the stand will feel on intense smell and then begin to have shortness of breath, headaches, burning of the skin. Some fans lose consciousness.
A panic break out, in which other fans are also injured of the sport meet.
The fire service units arrived at the action place have the task:
- to control the crowd,
- segregation of injured people,
- preform decontamination,
- give Qualified First Aid to injured persons.
During these exercises participated the squad of State Fire Service Brzesko, Specialist Group of Chemical and Ecological Rescue “Tarnow 1”, units Volunteer Fire Department from the county of Brzesko: Jadowniki, Debno, Tymowa, Poreba Spytkowska, Szczepanow, Uscie Solne and the Medical Rescue Team of Brzesko.
2. Assumption:
In the second assumption, firefighters were sent to a forest fire in the Okocim Forest District. Spreading fire absorbed trees at a rapid pace and moved towards the city. He was also a threat to Okocimski Football Club towards which he was approaching. The fire service units arrived at the place of fire started to fight with the fire by supplying water currents with fire lines and from water plots placed on firefighting cars. The water intake took place from the Uszwica River and it was embossed with hose lines W-75 close to 600 meters each.
During these training participated the squad of State Fire Service Brzesko, State Fire Service Tarnow with a hose container, State Fire Service Dabrowa Tarnowska and Volunteer Fire Department from Gnojnik, Szczurowa, Czchow.
The exercises were aimed at strengthening the cooperation of state fire and voluntary fire brigades entering the National Fire and Rescue System from the Brzesko poviat. Firefighters have gained vast knowledge and experience in the manner of reacting and acting in the event of possible threats.
