Abu Dhabi - Louvre Grand Opening Ceremony

The Louvre d' Abu Dhabi is the first inter-governmental museum, founded from a joint project of France and the United Arab Emirates. This institution, which could hold the French appellation for 30 years, is universal and federating. The design was designed by Jean Nouvel, who was inspired by traditional local architecture. The 55 white structures reproduce the shape of the low, welcoming houses that are widespread throughout the region.
