Actually not all love marriages result in divorce from the analysis you've provided. It's true we may have some love marriages ending up in divorce but not all of them even though it love marriages happen to be the most practiced marriage around the world.

It is very important and imperative that the couples understand each other before getting married and this is what brought about the concept of dating or courtship between couples before getting married.
One of the ingredients to successful marriage is for couples understanding each other since it will enable the husband and wife to know what they both love and hate, it enables the husband to know what can make his wife happy anytime she gets mad at him and similarly the wife is also able to know what to do to make her husband happy.
Understanding helps to keep the home in good condition by the couples loving each other and caring for themselves. The lack of understanding between couples has led to a huge percentage of divorce rate.

Amazing choice of topic. Especially taking into consideration that i just got married recently :)
Some people say that it's not so much about understanding other person, as it is about accepting that person with all differences.
Funny thing is that in some cultures (I won't name them laudly) marriages are being arranged and couples hardly know each other. And in those cultures there are pretty much no divorced people. That made me believe that part of the problem is the fact that we are programmed the way we are.
Many westeners think that getting married or getting divorced is just something that happen. Willingness to fight for your relationship is very weak. It's just so easy to give up when things go wrong. Blindly believing that next marriage can only be better.
