Video Calling Yesterday and Today.... And Useful of it.

Everyday, we see on malls, computer shop or even at home. Using this kind of technology called "video calling" a way  of communication that we can see our loveo nes or friends thru the screen of a mobile gadgets or a personal computers.

Video calling is an activity that now is easily to use as a way to communicate to your love ones , friends and family far away from you. Today, we cannot stop the new and advance technology invented and see everywhere. Like the so called video calling, to do this you need a smartphone or a computer with a camera and a stable internet connection to talk or chat live with the person you want to talk. And Facebook is one of that featured they use an chat app that can be use to video calling or video chatting.

Did you know? That the 1st man you created a World's Video Phone is a FILIPINO? My countrymen! My Kababayan! I'm stun to know that.. because I didn't Know its a Filipino who created the 1st video phone.

Gregorio Y. Zara, he live in Lipa, Batangas, the Northern part of Luzon, Philippines. 

According to a traced way back on 1950's in the Philippines, a long time prior of starting of the digital age or the technology era. They said the first recorded video phone or thet called a "two-way televesion-telephone" was invented by a Filipino physicist and engineer named Gregorio Zara. The video taken out of science fiction in 1955 when Zara first introduced the device.

Sadly, the video phone he created did not sell. Zara invented developed wasn't meant as a commercial product. Few years past, until the year 1960's AT&T start to work on a new model of a video phone they called it "picture phone" for public consimption.

AT&T released this device on 1964 in the prestigious New York World's Fair. It's not went well the device being seen as impractical at the time.

How decades past. It made a comeback just as the digital age was starting late in the 1990s.  The device that made distant learning and video conferencing easier than ever.
