Be highly distrustful of people who claim to be highly empathetic
Empathy does not grant you understanding of a person, it’s simply emotional mimicry
Empaths are attracted to traumatized people because they can use them as emotional proxies
Empaths often have an immense ego attachment to making themselves feel based on other peoples pain and emotional turmoil
they don’t truly care about people as individuals, they care about the emotional fixation they receive
To help someone requires a emotional stability on the part of the helper
empaths are the opposite of this
The people they pray upon didn’t realize this because they’re so desperate for affection and someone expressing that they care about them
Empathy is a cover for emotional narcissism
They are enablers
The people that can help you the most are not going to be the ones that cry with you and say they feel what you feel
