Can you imagine a world that has no laws governing it?

We can not foresee anything because even the law of cause and effect does not exist. Everything goes in chaos, not in accordance with the law of cause and effect. If under the law of cause and effect, a reaction arises because of action, then in a chaotic world, a reaction occurs by itself without the need for a trigger.

What does this mean? That is, we can not control what is happening in the world. We can not control what happens to our lives. Everything is out of control.

So far, what makes us able to predict the future and control what happens in our lives is the law of cause and effect. The law dictates that successful success requires hard struggle. To move forward requires diligent learning.

Learning diligently is the cause. The result is progress in thinking. Similarly, the hard struggle is the cause. The result is the success of life.

Imagine if the cause and effect law does not exist. So, we do not know what makes / causes us to succeed. Success can come whenever, wherever, to anyone without need of cause / cause. It could be, without the need to fight, someone can succeed. Could be also, new people succeed after struggling hard.

Without knowing the cause of one's success, then we will never know how to succeed. We can only surrender waiting for luck to side with us. And, we can not deny that misfortune befalls us.

Well, that's why, uncertainty (chaos) seems very scary. Many people are afraid of uncertainty. Many have lost hope because of it.

Then, what used to cause the author to assume that the world is full of chaos alias uncertainty?

The author witnessed crime, violence, injustice and oppression everywhere. There are people who despite the hard fight still life sensara. Conversely, there are with a little struggle, his life can prosper. Not only that, even as bad always win and good always lose.
