Electric precision screwdriver Wowstick 1FS review
Essential accessory of any good maker, the screwdriver can take a thousand and one shapes, for thousand and one uses. We are all looking for the ideal screwdriver, and I found a really interesting model.
The Wowstick 1FS
The Wowstick 1FS is an electric precision screwdriver, the size of a big pencil. Its cylindrical body houses 2 LR03 batteries (not included), and a motor. On the body, there is a switch to turn the motor on for tight or untight. Three LEDs light up when the screwdriver is rotating.
At the back, there is the hatch for batteries. I would have liked a rechargeable battery with a micro-usb, but...
The screwdriver is delivered with 3 tubes containing 6 different bits, flat, cruci, triangle, allen, torx, all that provided for precision use of course, so we will limit ourselves to bits of (very) small size. Good point: they are magnetized.
Finally, all is delivered in a white box, whose closure is provided by small magnets. This box has the advantage of not having meaning, so its content will not be reversed regardless of the direction of opening.
However, I find the tube system for the tips inconvenient, because it is not very clear the size of the bits in the tube.
A word about the power of rotation: it is more than enough to dismantle any electronic device.
My verdict is that for the price it is offered, this little screwdriver is really a very good value for money. For disassembling smartphones or assembling 3D printers, he will do his job perfectly.
