Hello Steemians,
I hope you all are doing good, and if not, No need to worry. Things will get better, They always do.

And Today I am going to tell you something that is important. It is not a tip about how to grow on steemit or how to get a better-looking hair or how to talk to a lady. You all are capable of doing those this, And you all are capable of doing one more thing which we rarely do. And some we do the exact opposite of what we are supposed to do.

We are humans, Believe it or not, but every human has a soul. And then there is this thing called "being human" that is a very polite way of saying screwed up. We screw up whether you like it or not, There are things that you cannot steer and your life will start spinning out of control. One moment you are this nice guy with a world class career ahead, a dream house, a nice family and beautiful and promising personal life and next moment you are short on paying rent, your family don't talk to you anymore and you no longer have a career or personal life. You are alive not because you are living but because you haven't stopped breathing. Things are way worse, so bad that if you get a chance to go back in time and change you are willing to re-write your entire life. We all screw up, sometimes it's small things like forgetting to wish her on the birthday or forgetting the anniversary, or sometimes life-shattering like your whole life is a lie. It is like from that point onwards your life has stopped. And from that moment onwards every passing minute is you stabbing your spirit/ soul with a knife called regret. And like Garyvee said the biggest poison in us is "Regret".

The key is to understand what you have done and accepting it, You cannot live in past and you need to move on. Mistakes happen sometimes its the only choice you had like even if you go back in time you would end up making the same choice. Sometimes you have taken a decision which you haven't thought through, sometimes the decisions were already made and you cannot outrun. The f**k up that I am talking about can be anything like taking a wheel when you ass is dead drunk or like being an abusive person in one relationship.

Sooner or later you will realize that you f**ked up. Its what you do next that matters the most. You can sit down in the corner and host a pity party for yourself where you invite your new best friends guilt, regret, remorse, and pity just to beat up yourself. Forget making things right, you can't think straight, Hell!! you can't even sit straight. You would be physically crumbling with all that mental pressure. With each passing moment, you start committing spiritual suicide. You turns sadistic and you torture yourself and you come up with ways to redeem yourself. You punish yourself and tell yourself that you deserve to be in that self-pity and miserable situation but that is not true. Thinks can't be made right, what's done is done the only thing you can do now is to move on. And to do that forgive yourself.

Now!! Don't be like how can I forgive myself? You don't know what kinda f**kup is done and how badly I am screwed up? In such cases, I am gonna say "SO WHAT?!!!". You will get what you deserve but that is an entirely different thing from what you are doing. If you screwup at your job you'll get shouted at or probably fired. But that's your bosses job, not yours. If you screw-up in a relationship your family or partner or friend will definitely get pissed and will give you a piece of their mind but that doesn't mean that you sit and beat yourself thinking whatever I did you were wrong and I deserved to be punished. That alright you deserved to be punished but you don't have to punish yourself.

And It's not easy I know, Forgiving yourself is one of if not the most difficult spiritual task that one has to do. There is no denying that but you can at least try. You are meant to live so try living. And in order to do that you must get your thoughts organized but before that accept that what you did or happened was a mistake, It was not supposed to happen but it did.

Now you have to live with it. And You should live with it. In order to do that you should live.
