Next episode of "Simon & Ida" on a screen near YOU!

It's thursday my friends and fellow steemians! That means a new episode of our Youtube series "Simon & Ida"! Follow our life on the island.

In today's episode we are testing the difference between eggs bought in the store and the eggs of our own chicken!

So what did we learn from this test?

• We would always go for our own locally produced eggs. It's a question of the chickens' wellbeing, ecological and economical thinking!
• The texture, color and feeling was completely different in our own eggs but the taste in the eggs when boiled was surprisingly similar.
• The biggest difference was in the yolk, our own being a stronger color both raw and boiled.
• It's easier to eat an older egg because the eggshell is hard to peal when the egg is really fresh!
