The desperate cyclist nearly died, trying to move the drawbridge. (Video!)
It is not known what direction this resident of Wisconsin (USA), who decided to ride a bicycle through the drawbridge, which came into motion.
The woman ignored the barrier and, approaching the bridge, collapsed into a narrow gap. Everything could end tragically, if not for the quick reaction of random passers-by. Some rushed to pull out the stranger, others notified the officer in charge of the bridge to stop the mechanism.
The cyclist got minor injuries. She went to the hospital, and I want to believe that everything that has happened will teach her to be more careful.
