RE: THE OCEAN - MY FAVORITE DREAD CLEANSE

in #life5 years ago

Do you have any actual evidence or studies to back up your many claims? Sea salt is still over 85% sodium chloride, which is the part of (well really it IS what makes what we colloquially call salt, salt) salt that most medical professionals say Americans consume in excessive quantities. In order to get sufficient quantities of the other important minerals in sea salt you would have to consume far too much sea salt to be healthy. Also, all of the trace minerals in sea salt are more easily (and healthfully) obtained through a healthy diet that includes fruit and leafy vegetables.

Diet? Eating? - I'm talking about rinsing my hair in the ocean.... not eating or drinking sea water.

If people rinse or wash their hair, they'll use some sort of liquid and I like to use the salt water in the ocean. If over done, it can have negative effects, but it can also me a good cleanse, which I enjoy. Here are a few quotes.

Sea salt contains sulphur and many other essential minerals in pure form which is extremely helpful for treating hair fall and hair loss.
Sea salt reduces scalp acne, dandruff and unclogs hair follicles.
It also helps balance scalp pH and sebum secretion.
Sea salt is a natural scalp and hair detoxifying agent.
Sea salt also is antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal.

Sea salt is naturally sourced from ocean water and undergoes little processing, which means its mineral content remains intact. This makes it detoxifying, alkalizing, and moisturizing. Sea salt is also used to eliminate blackheads and clear pores, calm inflammation and itchy skin conditions, slough away dead skin cells, diminish puffiness, boost circulation, tone the skin, and absorb excess scalp oils. It is very mild and suitable for most sensitive skin types.

Product build-up can leave your hair feeling gross and looking limp! Fortunately, there is a way to get rid of that gunk and clarify your hair – and that’s by adding sea salt to your shampoo.

Some of those sources talk about getting sea salt from the store, but I like to go straight to the source, and ocean.

I take it you didn't watch the video?
