👽 | Life on Mars? Myth or Possibility?
Mars has always been a source of curiosity, speculation and mysteries, in addition it is always subjected to scientific research of the most diverse types, invading the internet with infinite publications.
After knowing the great news that water has been found on Mars, it seems that the chances of finding life on that planet have increased, although we still do not have anything to prove it ... do we?
Why look for life on Mars if its surface has proved uninhabitable? Can they determine if it really exists?
While ... The only place in the Solar System that we know with certainty is life is our planet, otherwise you would not be reading this article and I would not be writing it.

Answering this question everybody has to know if we talk about live an mars we are talking about some bacteria or microbes and not about aliens and that sort of stuff.
We know water bear (Tardigrada) is able to sustain the levels on mars so basically it could live on mars (if there were some kind of food source, but there isn't). It is always difficult to answer this question with certainty but for me, as a biology and agriculture student, water means live and since we all know mars once had water on it I'm quite sure there had to be some live up there at some point.
On the other side there is still much to discover at our planet, like the deep sea. I'm convinced there are more alien looking specimens down there than in our solar system.
Methane doesn't exactly prove life, but it proves the possibility that life or organic processes can occur to produce methane. The methane clouds come and go and can be predicted like weather on Mars. That indeed is huge news for our future generations that colonize our neighbour planet!
Also, where there WAS life... there IS likely oil. Just saying .

I believe the reason we are so hung up on finding out if there is or was life on Mars is because it is the closest opportunity to do so. There is possibility therefore our basic human need to know kicks in and we’re off to the races. Mars is “easy” and “quick” to get to with our current technology therefore we are all about it. If we had Ion drives that could propel probes to other star systems within a life time I think we wouldn’t care about Mars. We would be oit looking for life in other places, but because Mars in convenient, thats where we are looking. I personally think its a distraction from attaining viable interplanetary or interstellar travel. And why don’t we have a space station on the Moon? Doesn’t that seem weird to anyone else? We go there, check it off the list and then forget about it? Forget Mars, lets go back to the Moon! Thanks for the post @jmhb85!
Unlikely but life could exist but not in the way we think it might come in form of bacteria living in these high temprature environment ir some sort of adaptive organism the ice that they found amd the river they discover hints to life but due to it not having the magnetic field like what we have on earth to protect it from solar rays and it being closer to the sun life is really harsh there but who knows
Nobody can assure if there's life in mars ( not yet at least), but it's pretty sure life has to exist somewhere else, besides earth. The universe is so big that it's impossible that earth is the only one with life.
My humble opinion.
I would like to believe that we can go to mars, and start living there, because soon earth can't take our trash anymore.
