This is the biggest so far in the Philippine history of Lottery ! It is estimated to reach more than a Billion Peso Jackpot.

The 6/58 UltraLotto draw is set today and it's been coveted for almost more than a month now, due to it's scaling amount of Jackpot. Many Filipinos are lining up, catching the draw date hoping for a brighter future if ever they may won the jackpot.

But at this time even the rich like the son of our Mayor, lined up to buy Lotto tickets.

But what is my point of view as a Minister about Lottery?

As far as PCSO ( Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office) is concern, it is a legitimate arm of the Philippine government for it's Charity purposes. PCSO is the one administering the Lottery draws here in our country. I've been a witness of people lining up in the office to get Medical assistance which I was also one of the beneficiaries. PCSO had given my cousin a guarantee letter for his medicine of about more fifty thousand pesos (Php. 50,000) worth of medicines and that was 20 years ago.

So I believe that when you bet on PCSO lottery, you are partly donating for a cause. You are not just simply playing a game of chance but also helping those people lining up for their Medicines. We should bear in mind that when we bet in the PCSO lottery, we are donating money to other people who are really in need. You do not really loose when you don't get the Jackpot prize but instead you are helping others. But I want to make it clear that you should only give or bet your extra finances, not the amount that you need to buy foods for your family. And so this is my point of view. Other Ministers or Pastors will not agree with me but I respect them anyway, I hope they will not judge on me and to those who bet on this game...
