You made a good point, but in fact, there's a danger for people to become a victim of superstition during they try to warn humans for another one (I don't mean you personally of course).

Scientists were successfully by to refute each other more often, nevertheless some people who call themself enlightened and seem to deny superstition believe everything as long as scientists told them about it.
