I stumbled over this image on Instagram (wouldn't it be perfect, if it would say @appics or @steepshot?!). I love my job. Even though there are hard times each and every day. The image fits perfectly to this little anecdote from this work week.

On Thursday a mother with her 17 year old teenage boy came into the office for the yearly checkup. His mood was ... let's skip this point. In her opinion he should have braces because his upper and lower front teeth starting to move. He didn't have any during his childhood or teenage years. Maybe you heard of the invisible, transparent, plastic splints. This brace therapy works pretty well IF you wear your splints more than 22 hours a day and just take them out for your brushing your teeth and eating. She would pay for the treatment no matter the price because in her opinion straight teeth play a huge role for his further career. As you might guess, he doesn't care at all. Let's see how this story will end.
