Different Is Good
Today I met with a friend of mine and we had quite a long (three hour) conversation by a dinner. We try to see each other once a month if we can and we never run out of topics to talk about.
We are very different people. We come from different countries, different mother tongue, and we have different lifestyles. But somehow we always find a common ground and that’s why it’s easy for me to find time for her.
There are some things we have in common though. We both like traveling, good food, and we share the love for singing.
Every time we talk I learn something new. I discover a different view on everyday things. The most of all I appreciate the opinions that expand my ability to be as open minded person as I can be.
With all the flaws, it is difficult to find someone like this nowadays. Especially being a grown up in a big city.
If you have one friend like that do not let them go and make time for them even when you have a busy schedule.
