Chillingham Castle Ghost Tour, was hoping for so much more. 2 hours of nothing much happening.

After spending yesterday evening alone whilst hubby & my daughter Nichola where of to Chillingham Castle Ghost tour. The tour started at 9pm finished at 11pm, hubby then had a 2 hour drive home.

They arrived home around 1am, Nichola went straight to bed as she had work in the morning and hubby was sound asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow but wasn't asleep for very long as our little pup Luna was unwell, she was sick twice, she was unsettled all night not being able to get comfortable anywhere. Her stomach was making weird noises all night. Thankfully she seems a little better today.

Anyway back to the Ghost Tour.

The entrance to Chillingham Castle looks eerie in the dark.

They both took a few photographs walking around the castle, some of the tour was with the light on others was in the pitch black. Hubbby thinks the whole tour was staged as if anything happened it happened to the same 3 girls, they held there hands on a table that moved that was supposedly to heavy to move but hubby had to debunk it by moving it after they were ready to move on. There were a few things that happened that could be explained, Cold breezes, windows open.

They all loved the walk around the Castle, found it very interesting and would like to go back in the day time to take a closer look when it is light.

Nichola took a few photographs that are questionable. she also took some good shots of the Castle and its surroundings.

In another photo my sister and her husband were sitting at a table, there is a Blue light in front of them, they don't know whether it was from the light or another reason.

The story is going back to 1587 there was a young boy who had found papers belonging to Lord Grey who was helping the Spanish overthrow Queen Elizabeth I. To stop the boy from speaking they sealed him and the papers behind a wall, when the wall was taken down they found the boy had been alive when they buried him as there were scratches on the inside plus his fingers were worn down with trying to get out. This is the boy that is supposed to haunt parts of the castle.

Here are a few of the photographs that were taken from last night, I haven't seen my sisters photo's yet.

I was hoping for more, few possessions, things being thrown, seeing or hearing anything but unfortunately it seems nothing stood out. Hubby says the drive home was that scariest as it was dark thin roads and lots of rain..

They took a photo of a few of the trees that stood outside, there were called the hanging tree where they used to hang people and do witchcraft. I haven't seen tree's like these before.
