I really like living around the mountains because of all the aspects that it gives. Lakes, snowed mountains, bike options, the only thing that it really misses is the ocean. But apart from that it has so much to offer in some spare time.

Recently I had some friends visiting and we decided to take out a boat thingy onto the water. Not for the whole day, but just for a while to chill and get some good views of the city and mountains around us. The shot up here was the result of that, and we all wondered why we hadnt brought a BBQ on this trip and some speakers and just chilled the rest of the day there.

Later that same day we went over to visit a friend in the mountains, just an hour drive away. And what happend? From out boating session we drove straight into the snowy landscape

Packs of snow still on the side of the road. It was as if we had entered the twilight zone, really all wondering ourselves if the boating trip from before hand was a dream or not. The two totally different landscapes just didn't add up at all.

In the end we decided to stay another day in the snow for a hike, which I was totally not prepared for. I mean, walking on snow just on the Nikes is not really the thing a girl does who actually lives in that area. More what some confused tourists would do.

But on this day, we were the confused tourists :)
