Mystifying Technology

New technology is developed every day. Some, however, are major inventions that change human life. These are the inventions and certain technology I find most interesting.

3D Printers

3D printers are machines that construct 3d objects. Many use plastics such as PLA and ABS or plastic wood. Most 3D printers today use FDM. FDM printing works by depositing some type of filament bottom to top. It deposits in Micro layers until the object is formed. 3D printers can be a fun experience as well helpful for printing items or parts. Launchpad Novation

Launchpads are an electronic music technology product. They use a musical creation and sequencing software such as Ableton Live to actually compose music in ways that are previously unattainable. This software interacts with the launchpad by putting beats sound or repetitive beats or sound on a pad of 64 grid instrument. It also allows you to make your own sound or music on the software. The software also allows you to make a light show with 218+ colors making a pattern or an image. Novation, the creator of the the tool, has made various launchpads. Lanchpad mini, Pro and MK2. The launchpad is a great learning source as well fun, and it can make over 10,000 different sounds.

Robots

You may not have realized it but robots have advanced from simple gadgets or software helpers such as Cortana from Microsoft, or Siri from Apple. Scientists and engineers have developed the Mars Rovers, a highly advanced exploratory robot. But one of the most interesting to me is the "Transformer." Scientists in the United States have created a car that can transform to a robot. These robots can walk, talk and drive. Although that's all the can do they will most likely be modified and improved in the future with more abilities.
