How do people manage to agree and what to do with your own opinion?

Have you ever wondered how many opinions are out there and how challenging sharing a view is? How is it possible for two people to come up with a conclusion? The language itself is a tool that can be made all together only, and the interesting thing is that without that tool there wouldn’t be any thought, any thinking process as we know it today.

I feel confused when I imagine all the variety of points of view. And what I came up recently – is that I want to figure out which one is close to me and stick to it. And the hardest thing is to open yourself. Without any labels, being independent of someone’s opinion.

But it’s hard to develop yourself with all the distractions. Making a living is hard enough besides your mental wealth. That’s why I set it as a primary goal. It makes living easier when you know how it’s done.

Over the last six months, I noticed that people around me often like to lesson me, grumbling about all the little things they think I made or said wrong. But they miss the big picture, they can’t realize that their opinion isn’t 100% truth. Actually, there isn’t any ‘100% truth’. What’s good in one layer of society is bad in the other and each person has their own experience. Being under that pressure all the time made me doubt my own opinion!

It can really drive you crazy. After some time you’re starting to adapt and even lie to yourself to fit the expectations. Finally, I ended up where I didn’t want to be, with the woman I didn’t love (although I was sincerely thinking the opposite!), making work that I hate and not being progressed.

So I just broke the chains. First, I left relations with people that I don’t want to have in my life, calmly, without insulting them. Then, I admitted every lie that I made up to myself and as a consequence to the other people. And I swore that I would never live a life that I do not want and would be completely honest with everyone.

Then came a relief.

Just be respectful to others. Remember, that everyone is a person with their own beliefs and point of view. Feel free to explore and share their view. That’s an exciting adventure.
