Why a man calls his birthday, the day when a woman gives birth to him. The very moment that a man’s life begins in the womb of a woman. And this moment when the cell multiplied for the first time. From one cell it became two. Not two parts of one cell, but two sister cells. Because it is a process of copying, not division. All nine months that a person spends in the womb of a woman are not counted by us in our lives. The life counter is included from the moment of the birth of a person into the world, into this world, our world of independent people.
Birth begins with the first breath, with the first cry, with the first slap ... This is our birthday. We began to live self and independent, although we need care and attention.
