WHY HEART DOES NOT PUMP

in #life6 years ago

A distinctive feature of the volumetric pump (hereinafter referred to as the pump) is suction. This is necessary, for pumping liquid into the chamber and further moving it, using excess pressure. In the human circulatory system, the heart is located, in the center of the thorax. In relation to the transverse midline of the body, the heart is located in the upper part. If the blood from the organs located above the level of the heart can drain under the action of gravity down to the heart, then from the organs located below the level of the heart, the blood must be absorbed in order to overcome the same force of attraction. But the heart does not suck. In the pump, the two stages of suction and pushing are carried out by performing work with the help of two separate nodes of the mechanism and correspondingly by a different application of forces. For example, to understand this, if we pull something by hand, then one group of muscles works, if we push, then absolutely different muscles work. In the pump, the force first acts in one direction, which creates a suction condition, in the next stage, the force direction is reversed and the injected liquid is pushed outward from the chamber. Yes, our heart with the help of muscle contraction can create pressure and push blood from the chamber out into the circulatory system. But it is not capable of filling our cells with work in the opposite direction. Otherwise it would be a perpetual motion machine, which he sucks and pushes himself. To understand this, imagine that our heart is in the form of an elastic rubber ball with a small hole. The force of elasticity allows the ball to constantly save and restore its shape, even after pressing it. And when you press the air will leave it, if the external action is eliminated, under the influence of elastic forces, air will be sucked back. It looks like our heart, with a small difference, we have two inlet and outlet openings with valves that alternately close and open, blocking or opening the holes, regulating the direction of flow. But two forces are applied to the ball. The first is the power of the hand - this is an external force, when we squeeze the ball. The second is the force of elasticity of the material - this is the internal force from which the ball is made, it restores it to its original state, creating a suction force. The ball itself can not shrink and recover. Otherwise, this is a perpetual motion machine, which in principle is impossible. If we assume that our heart is made up of elastic tissue, then something is needed to create an external effect on the heart and compress it. As in the example with the ball, our hand. But we know for sure that our heart is made up only of a muscle that can shrink, say to shrink. But our heart can not straighten, it needs help from outside, which we do not observe.
