This is a fantastic post - and I love that you included some links on where to buy the right curry powder (as I assume it really does make all the difference). I definitely want to try this!
Yes the curry powder is the game changer. I used to own a restaurant and it's the only thing we would ever use. As he said be careful because it will stain fingernails and clothes pretty quickly
Indeed, there is no other curry I'd use , I tried a few alternatives but never again lol Betapac is king.

Thanks a lot @lilyraabe I had fun doing it too. You really have to try it. I love it so much it was the first Jamaican food I learned how to cook. Yeah that curry is the Major Key right there, there is something special about it.
