Cruel World!! Kicked out for feeding homeless man

in #life6 years ago

This blows my mind that in today’s world this can happen. I understand the man has been there before begging but this guy decided to take him in and feed him. The whole thing could of been handled much differently!! The man wasn’t causing problems just eating! Food that was paid for!!! This is what law enforcement is doing with their time and our dollars! Feeling angry and disappointed in people.

It’s ridiculous for them to treat this man that way! He obviously was just trying to sit down and enjoy his meal. I hope none of the people who were offended by his presence ever become down on thier luck. Karma, ya know! I’ll be calling!

If nothing else they could of told the man that brought him in that he can’t be in here because of past issues. Give it to them to go not on a tray. No reason this should of been a police issue.

I am aware of where it is. I have been there before. Thanks for adding address! Should of included that in my post.

Man this is all kinds of disturbing. Poor guy is crying at the end of the video. At least the dude is still offering to buy him some food.

I understand if he has caused problems in the past. Doesn’t seem to be a police issue. Then the officer saying “I am the law” like she’s judge dredd. !()

every where and every time u can find good and bad people we should make all effort to be from good side

Yeah it's just sad that we live in a world where we dehumanise someone who has fallen on hard times.

Even if he was begging for money before, that hardly warrants asking him to leave. Just say no if you don't want to give a homeless guy money. People want things swept under a rug. It's pathetic.

Rather than just helping someone out like the guy did on the video.

I usually try and keep some loose change iny wallet for if someone like this asks me politely if I can spare some money. Because the fact is I can, and I can also take ten seconds to look him/her in the eye as I reach for my wallet and say yeah here you go. It's literally nothing, but I think too many people are afraid of confusing empathy with weakness.

And the whole excuse people harp on about their only going to spend it on drugs I'd say go and spend one day volunteering in a homeless shelter or food kitchen, and you will see these are people who fell on hard times and just need some compassion. Instead the norm is to turn a blind eye. I can see why this guy gets upset.

If he could have kept his cool it makes people who think they are normal look and feel ridiculous for turfing someone our. But I know how it feels to try and keep those emotions in check when faced with such situation.
