I think it was for a time visited by many pirates, I believe there are some wrecks from those years lying around all the islands.
Is it like a divers Mecca?
Yes diving is big in Roatan, very much what a lot of people go there for.
I was just talking to an IT guy the other day and he was talking about Roatan. Small world.
