Womp, Wooooomp! He Did it Again... Consequences are for Chumps!
Soy bean farmers in North Dokata, the same ones who voted overwhelmingly for Trump during the 2016 Presidential Election, are having buyer's remorse. Badly. It seems the trade war with China, the world's largest consumer of soy bean crops, is pushing these farmers towards financial ruin.
“This isn’t just numbers on a sheet or percentage of trade or dollar value,” Michael Petefish, a Trump-backing farmer, told CNN. “This is multi-generational American families, your base, that you are now squarely putting into financial peril.”

It seems that these farmers thought that consequences were something other people suffered, not them. One can imagine their thinking:
Spend billions building a wall that isn't needed, won't work and is a monument to racism? "You bet!"
Give tax breaks to billionaires and millionaires and then cut social programs to pay for it? “Lazy Libtards!”
Kick out kids who have been here all their lives, yet are leading productive and worthwhile lives? "No problem!"
Separate children from their families and leave them in cages because their parents were fleeing abject poverty and unrelenting crime, yearning to be free? "Serves'em right!"
Suffer financial losses because you elected the most bigoted, moronic sack of orange shit that has ever been trained to walk and talk? "Wait, whaaaaaaa?? I didn't think I would ever suffer! Not me... I'm Republican. I'm American! I'm WHITE! I BUILT this country!! This is a travesty, an injustice, an outrage! Why, it's, it's... it's un-American!!!"
Welcome to the party North Dakota. Looks like you will suffer the consequences of your actions, right along with the rest of us.
