There is the case of Masaru Emoto, a fellow who found that talking to water literally changed its molecular structure, and the shapes it made under magnification.

The effect of intention can be felt and repeatably demonstrated among people with their perception filters temporary disabled (lsd would be one way). We are mostly water, and I always felt a strong connection to it.
This always made sense to me, even when there wasn't quite much room for energetic considerations in my worldview back then.
