Some mistakes you should avoid when talking to people

It is important to try to speak to the public at least once in your life and this means a lot of preparations, including avoiding a set of mistakes that we will mention in this article.

Do not adapt your message to listeners:

If you do not talk to your listeners about themselves or what they want to draw from your speech, you will not be able to attract their attention. Many speakers fall in bad habit so that speaking in a word aunt greatly without applying it to listeners. You should know that listeners know if you have what you need to present this conversation in a proper way or not and this is reflected in the way you talk to them.

Repetition:

I know you may want to benefit listeners a lot but you have to keep in mind the ability to listen to all the information you want to give them.

You should give some pause in speaking before and after talking in something important to give some comfort to you and the recipients to separate a lot of treatment in the brain and considered it a turning point in your words as it gives you some time to catch your breath and control your nerves if you are tense.


The strong editorial neglect:

The opening is the most important part of attracting the attention of listeners to you, but it is usually a lot of speakers neglecting the introduction is not very important in their eyes when compared to what they want to offer and just list the agenda and this does not stimulate listeners much to listen to you.

Try to invest some time and effort in training the opener as part of your work and you should remember it while talking.


Use too much or too little joking:

It is difficult to quantify the amount of jokes in your speech if you do not know the audience. Of course you do not want your presentation to be boring and dry so it's important to make listeners laugh whatever the joke is, but it should not be too much. This is a serious presentation that presents a range of important information.


Reading from the prepared presentation:

Your presentation is important so that you do not forget everything you want to say. It also helps listeners to remember and write if they want to, but it should not be a means of reading. Reading from the show hurts listeners.


Frequent apology:

You may have been late and would like to tell listeners what happened to you or that the journey took a lot of time and you want to explain why it did not happen or want to tell them that you are tired so do not expect the show to be as strong as it should be.
