what do you mean by de-monetized ? they just removed them or ... ? i didnt know youtube paid actually. Have you tried d.tube ? Not that i know much about the guidelines there. I do know google lately has been very very restrictive coming down like the good know-it-all-enlighter (as some would like to here) on about everything that might be controversial , i have no idea what's going on, i mean Trump gets elected, kim soong wants peace suddenly and google starts doing all kind of disney-maneuvers if i may call it that ...
i can imagine how certain forces in life wouldnt like what you're doing but in the land of the free ...??
i already told you i cant possibly see that happening here in the democratic heart of europe, youd probably have about ten minutes to scuttle before you get arrested, your cam taken and if you're lucky that's the only that gets broken when you talk back lol. It's not all rosey, im not saying its ancient soviet russia (yet) but these guys have WAY too much power and the pops (i cant say plebs anymore i hear its a BAD word lol) just likes it because STRONG and HARD on CRIME (which nearly doesnt exist compared to where you live, i dont know about portland but i know about Flint for instance, i cant think of one place in europe that would compare. cops here are lucky, they get SERIOUS pay, serious benefits and well, all the rights they need, which automatically leads to less savioury elements actively looking for a position because its a great position to be in to do unsavioury things as long as one of brothers has your back because legally speaking "cops cant lie", right ?
they're under oath by default so anything they say is the truth, they dont wear cams so its their word against ... well no word

Yeah, there's a crazy law in UK called breach of peace. the concept makes me insane! It's basically saying that no one has any free-speech!
ah, the UK, yes well ... there's a reason George Orwell rose from the quantum foam overthere lol , he seems to have been right about a lot of things by now , they got serious issues with personal privacy overthere but as far as i know at least the cops don't carry hardware by default (unless that's changed in the age of terrerizm as a beating stick) contrary to here where any traffic cop packs a 9mm glock (or similar, i think its glocks) and they probably keep uzis or p90s in the vans (cos you know, with all the hard crime here, lol) and i wonder who pays for all that.
There's something similar here too i think its called something like "disturbance of peace" or "public disturbance" and basically laws dating back to the dark ages (well that would be 1830 here when leopold built his realm on slavery lol) would have it that you can be arrested for drunk walking as "public drunkenness" , thats not even indecency its a separate thing and i think they can even still assume by law groups bigger than two or three people are conspiring and can be ordered to disperse by law, pretty much gives them all leeway they need to do about anything they want (other than come into your home without a warrant ... so far, luckily) its peaceful, more or less but the way i see statistics is the more cops there are the more crime increases, even if you read that the other way around more blue in the street (as they call it here) doesn't seem to be a solution at all, but i try to keep my distance but i sometimes think there's a neonlight above my head that says "call cops when you see me" or something, people are just ... well very nasty words ... blindfolded and bound by fear, even in my own street after dark not too long ago i had someone threaten to call the cops , cos i was walking there at night, thats like 50m from where i live

doesn't always work in their favour though, high recruitment rate, low requirements, gets a lot of people who shouldn't be cops into 'the force' and leads to nasty situations like for instance
i think a couple of years ago in brussels a whole squad got beaten up by some i dont know what gang-types, smacked around in the middle of the city and got their shiney pieces taken ... and a bit longer ago a 78 year old man who was making a ruckus stabbed 4 cops with a kitchen knife, the fifth one had to shoot him, 78 year old guy who was flipping (over whatever) so they dont have the training, and they dont have the steel nerve,
but they have the hardware, combined with pack mentality thats always a bad combination if you ask me ... i believe some years ago in brussels an imported gang even stormed the hq lol *to get their confiscated AK's back ... so these things are kept out of the news but crimerate is inflated because those are very very rare occurences, crime in brussels is ofcourse a lot higher than in most place in the country , as brussels is the only city with over one million people and about the highest unemployment rate too, however, that's not much of a surprise
but an easy beating stick for the demagogues and nationalists to cry wolf ofcourse
