However, although there is really no historical evidence that any of the characters known as Valentine's Day has really existed, the legend has it that Pope Gelasius I between 496 and 498 after Christ, to honor Saint Valentine, decreed on 14 February as a special day to honor the patron of friendship and lovers which is celebrated around the world through the exchange of gifts and love letters, this festivity was celebrated by the Catholic Church in the following 15 centuries, celebration that It took root in several societies.

However, there are many opinions and views on this particular day, given that it is a tradition that is celebrated in much of the world, and for a long time we have been taught that the day of love and friendship, we must leave running to buy gifts for couples, family, friends and companions so they will not say that we are pichirres or failing that we do not feel appreciated towards them; even in schools they encourage children to draw up letters of friendship among the students or they simply organize a sharing.

There is nothing more exciting than loving and being loved, feeling the little butterflies in your stomach and the adrenaline that rises when you see your loved one. "It is a privilege to have loved ones at our side to whom we can give our hearts. It is a very complex feeling to define, however, it is the most beautiful because it is a virtue, through which we externalize through demonstrations of affection towards our loved ones which must be done daily to nurture love, give and receive love and respect to strengthen ties and keep alive the spark of love.

Love does not depend on Valentine's Day, love is cultivated day by day with attention, small details and gestures. Personally, I consider that February 14 became a commercial day.
