Dismal Garage Sale
Last Saturday was the neighbourhood garage sale day. Bad timing. It was raining the whole morning and garage sale hours must not exceed 1.00pm.
Dismal sale. We managed to make only six dollars from sale of three of the kiddo's old tee shirts. It would have been much much better if the kiddo did not overturn a BIG sale. The dad managed to sell the electrical tractor and just as the buyer was about to pay, the kiddo came home from his piano lesson in the nick of time.
The kiddo was adamant. It belonged to him and he would not give it away. No way Jose!
So ended the garage sale with only six dollars. The dad then made a trip to the thrift store to donate all the old lamps and lightings that were actually still in very good condition but failed to attract any takers.
