Three Seater

I am just about the only one forever sitting on the couch in front of the TV. I spend about twelve hours daily on this three seater to watch TV, work on my laptop and sometimes eat breakfast, lunch and dinner as well.

That particular spot on the couch is tired and worn out and I dread having to go to the mall to find a new replacement. It would be hard to find someone willing to cart it away at no expense. I asked a friend if she knows of anybody willing to help me dispose of it for a reasonable fee. She suggested that I get the couch refurbished instead and that's a pretty good idea.

I have passed by this shop a few miles from my house numerous times. It does not even have a business signboard but in front of the building are some haphazardly piled up sofas. I dropped in to enquire if they do repairs. I showed a snapshot of the couch and the owner promptly advised it would be more economical to replace just the seat; no need to reupholster the frame .He gave some colour samples that he thought would match the existing colour of the couch.

I selected the most appropriate sample after comparing the few he has given me. Called the owner of my colour choice and he arranged for immediate collection of the couch from my house. I had not bothered with checking or comparing prices elsewhere first as I got the impression that the owner has been in the refurbishment business for a long time.

The couch came back a few days later good as new. Saved me some money and the trouble of shopping for a new one.
