I think you have a point but, the movie was aimed at very young children and my 10 and 13 year old were not even paying attention when we saw it. So much so that they never discussed it after as they do so many other movies. The little ones enjoyed watching and honestly the only message they probably understood was that you can be whoever you want to be, I don’t think that’s a bad message to send to 4,5 and 6 year olds.
