Bonzo suffered from the success the band had. A drummer like him, whom I consider one of the greatest drummers ever, drank himself to death, because "he was not good enough". He was on some prescription drug at the time and it could well been that this was the ultimate cause for his way too premature death. When I saw The Boys at Letterman, Bonzo was sorely missing and they should have put another chair there for him.
