Ember Months!

Over the years, a lot has been said about the ember months; September, October, November and December. Many feels they should be dreaded because of the time of the year they fall into.

We all look forward to the new year. We start planning for the festive periods and the holidays. We want to have time for ourselves and our families. We want to go on a short vacation, visit places and even most people save up for this time so they can live in affluence. A lot of sacrifices goes into this particular time of the year so when something negative happens, we read extra meanings to it because we don't want anything to mess up with our plans.

Our fear of the ember months forces us to make rash decision which ultimately still ruin things. The ember months isn't different to every other months but because it is close to the end of the year, so when negative occurrences happen we read meanings to it. Even if the statistics proved to show that more death happens during the ember months, i still feel it is not different to every other month in the year. I think it depends on perspectives.

Talking of perspectives, I see the ember month as the same as the rest of the months because every day has its own evil. The Bible says each day is also loaded with benefits. So each month in the year has both the bad and the good, so what we choose to focus on is what we will get. I am not saying evil won't happen but you can secure yourself by your faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus didn't promise us a life of relative ease, but He wants us to stir our faith to know that we can always stay ahead and on top of every tribulation.
