A silly fun time with Mum and son! (:

The quote I started this post off with is one that I always tell my children that it's still okay to Be Silly. Be Honest. Be Kind. It's a very positive truth that has proven to be inspirational. It's amazing what positive thinking can do when teaching children about life. In this day and age, it's imperative to try and be positive and teach our children to be positive.

A couple of nights ago Liam was a bit bored with his usual favorite hobby which happens to be playing on his laptop. He either plays Minecraft or Roblox or will sit for hours watching youtube videos. I sometimes wish I could understand his interest in some the youtube videos his watches... He likes to watch other people mostly young kids or teenagers play video games, and they talk while they are playing them. Anyhow he decided me wanted to spend some time with me and pretty much every time he does he wants to play with my iPhone's camera and start snapping pictures of everything and wanting to take selfies. These selfies he tried to take was different from a lot of the other ones' he wanted. These he was wanting to make silly faces where we'd give a fake scream and make the craziest faces we could think of while snapping the pictures. He ended up using the front facing camera which has lower megapixels and all around just not the best quality especially in low light situations. At first, his pictures were in color, but no matter what I did with them they would not turn out the way I wanted. I decided I'd give black & white a shot to see how it was and well wouldn't you know... They ended up not looking half bad. I did make Liam only pick 2 of the pictures for us to use here. To be honest, I feel that I am the one that looks the silliest in these pictures... I know Liam just loved looking at all of them after he'd taken them. There was a one or two with my eyes closed making unflattering faces, but he found it rather funny...

I am happy that Liam who is eight is still wanting to spend a lot of time with his mother where my other two older children 19 & 14 can't be bothered as much. I guess I'd cramp their style or maybe they are just afraid I'd ask them to help me clean up the house. Altho talking about trying to get my children to help clean the house probably would end up having to be a mini-series of sorts that I won't dare go into this article.
