CONTRACTIONS.... PLUS ANOTHER BABY LAMB
Looks like we might have one soon too!
This evening, we enjoyed a dinner with wome friends who have 5 and half dozen children. Yes, really, five and half dozen children, with no twins! You see, 5 is 5, and a half dozen is 6, so 5 and a half dozen is 5 + 6, which equals 11. It just sounds more impressive when you turn it into a math equation rather than just saying 11. Anyways.....
@Mama-Pepper has been having some warm up contractions lately, which means that we are well on our way to having a half dozen children. We may still have a bit to go, but things could progress rather quickly, so we'll be paying extra close attention to what her body is up to.
While all of that was going on, apparently one of our Shetland/Finnsheep ewes gave birth. So far we've only found one lamb, but there could possibly be more to follow... we'll see. I'll be sharing a short video of it soon enough, but I thought I'd show you a couple early morning / late night photos of the little lamb and at least mention that it looks like we'll be having a birth of our own soon enough!

Wow! I didn’t know @mama-pepper was pregnant! Congratulations! ❤️ and biggest of blessings to the little one when he or she arrives, and wishes for a smooth labor.
Congrats on all the lambs, too. We have started calving, but we are getting hit with such a snopocalypse it has been really hard on the little guys. 😕
