What is the easiest way, in YOUR experience to learn a new language?

If you want to learn a new language, you have to be clear why you're learning that. Then set a goal according to your objectives.

You should keep in mind that it lakes time and patient to learn a new language. No matter which technique or method you follow, you cannot learn a language overnight. You have to be persistent.

To learn a language, you should focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing. You have to listen to the language that you want to learn. You can grab something automatically by listening. Then move on to speaking, reading and writing.

What I see is that someone learns better only by listening or watching people speaking, someone learns better by reading. Take action and start learning. You will figure out what works best for you.

Last but not least, have some fun. Don't be afraid of making mistake. Mistake is a process of learning. The person who never tries something new does not make mistake. Keep learning and never give up.
