Don't be Just Passionate and Sympathetic, Be Compassionate and Empathetic

Don’t be passionate or sympathetic, be compassionate and empathetic. Yeah, compassion is that greatest thing which can give you the ultimate pleasure in life. What is compassion?

Simply compassion is a kind of emotion that helps you grow empathy for others. Being compassionate means you just realize other’s problem as your own and help them to overcome those. Don’t mistake compassion as other humane acts because compassion targets in alleviating sufferings.

If you want to grow and polish your compassion then practice it daily.

It’s not always easy to be kind, but it is easy to go into the process. But why do you need to grow compassion in your life?
There is a scientific reason too. Science says, people who practice it produce 100 percent more DHEA than those who don’t practice. DHEA is a hormone that slows down the ageing process and cuts down 23 percent cortisol or the stress hormone. Apart from that, the main benefits lie in emotional and spiritual wellbeing. If you are compassionate, you can be happier and make people happy around you. It gives you mental peace and nothing can be bigger than the peace.

How to grow compassion?

Morning ritual: Start your morning with a ritual. Say to yourself that you are going to be the best of you from the day. You will be enlightened gradually and make people happy around you.

Practice empathy: Throw away sympathy. People don’t need it, they need compassion that comes with empathy. Someone you love might suffer anytime. What you need to do? You must help him/her. just like that try to grow your inner emotions.

Be kind: Be kind to yourself and to others. Don’t hold any grudge and don’t stay angry for a long time. If someone does anything bad to you, you can stay away and forgive. Forgiveness is one of the main things to practice to become compassionate.

Maintain an evening routine: Before going to bed take some time. Go back to your whole day. See what you did, how many people you met and how you interacted. Then think about how you started your day. What you said to yourself.
Find out how well you did. Gradually you will reach your destination.

Be kind, be generous, be open to new things. Keep your mind free of obstacles. Compassion is the ultimate thing that will give you inner peace, so practising it won’t take your valuable time, rather it will make your life valuable.
