What is the defination of being free??
The definition of free will is betrayed by the biology of having thoughts. There is no voluntary action that creates a thought. Thoughts are created by involuntary actions in the brain and it isn't until AFTER a thought is created that you experience having one.
You never stop thinking or experiencing consciousness. Your BRAIN does this all the time without you initiating it just like your heart pumping blood. Your brain doesn't receive any instruction or will when doing this. You don't choose to think, you don't choose your thoughts. You don't have the ability to have free will. You only experience thoughts after they are created. I love how people start insulting when facts fail to reinforce their preconceived notions. Biology supports what I've posted. Your opinion isn't fact. I urge you to let science determine how you think. I look forward to some factual basis for your opinion, but until then I have no interest in helping you reach the scientifically logical conclusion.
Enjoy refusing to use facts to dispute opinions. Emojis don't win debates, but clearly you're not much on scientific facts. Clearly facebook groups are as far into science or philosophy as you need to venture. Either way, this isn't an intelligent discussion, hasn't been since you started typing, so it's a waste of my time. Perhaps shoe shopping on amazon is a better use of your time on the internet. If thinking is not voluntary, then you had no control over your thoughts when you thought what you wrote. Furthermore, if what you wrote were true, people who believe in free will have no choice but to believe in it and you are merely wasting your time trying to argue for it. Why simply type "IF" and not actually make some attempt to disprove what I've typed. This group cracks me up. ROFL. I post facts, and you people simply pretend like saying they aren't true makes them not true. Is this what science is to you? A back and forth of beliefs and opinions? This is beneath me. Come back when you've done some kind of research and can produce a fact to support your opinion.
