Simple productivity life hack

in #life6 years ago

If you are like me, you want to stay as productive as possible at all times, but this sometimes becomes a particularly difficult task.

About a month or so ago I presented my problem to a friend who recommended this Toggl to me.

How does Toggl work?

You simply enter what sort of work you are doing, add certain tags or projects and hit start. A stopwatch will then begin. Once you have finished working, stop the stopwatch and then this will be recorded. You can add as many entries as you like. All of your entries will be automatically sorted and saved where you can view at any time. At the end of every week, you will be emailed a lovely graph showing you just how much time you have spent working on various things during the week. You can also see and edit this info on the site at any time.

How can this keep you productive?

It is honestly the most satisfying thing to watch your hours go up and up and it actually motivates you do do more and reach your goals. I like to see it as a bit of a game to see if I can put more and more hours into my studies every week. Toggl is also a very good way to see what you are actually spending most of your time and effort on and helps you to figure out more effective ways of using your valuable time.

Anything else to add?

Toggl can also be used in businesses to track the time spent working on different projects for clients and helps you to bill accordingly.

This site is also free to use! However there are certain things you need to pay for if you would like to use some of Toggl's more complicated and helpful features.

Thanks for reading!

I hope that this will help you to be more productive! You can give it a try here! (this will take you to the Toggl site)
