Oh, how I don’t miss those hassling cab drivers at the airport... lol. And the hagglers are definitely the worst in Kuta.
Don’t fuck with weed there! Many stories of dudes selling it, turning around to the cops to point you out. Unless you got like an extra $10-50k you wanna part with, this is a stupid move. Mushrooms... not sure on legal status now -they used to be tolerated, shops all over Kuta. Heard they got banned, though were still a few shops on the side streets that sold - that’d be safer than dudes on the street.
Bintang... haha. Stark is actually a great beer brewed right in Bali, no preservatives. They make a lychee flavoured one that is GOLD.

I wouldn't mind going again, but probably with a group of friends who are down to partayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy (without drugs.)
