50th birthday
No phisical silver or gold this post.
Today we celebrated the 50th birthday of my wife.
It is a Dutch tradition to call your 50th birthday the age that you have “seen” Abraham (if your a man) or Sarah (if your a woman), cause you have reached the age of wisdom 😜.
The names are referring to the biblical Abraham and Sarah from the Old Testament.
So my wife has seen Sarah as shown on the picture. And dressed up with some nice Sarah jewelry 😂😂
I told her she absolutely doesn’t look like 50 at all, for me she always remains that girl I fell in love with 30 years ago. That is more worthy to me than all the silver and gold in the world!
We celebrated this “achievement” with family and friends!
