The flight of the humble being

It's invigorating to know stories that strengthen us.
Today I watched the history of St Joseph of Cupertino:

Although i wonder what is to be humble and have it for goal, after watching this movie definitely makes me realize how far i am from humility and even wonder if it will even be possible to attain it.
I could simply copy the actions i think reflects humility, but i realize that this would not be natural and would be loaded with vanity.
Joseph, on the other hand, reflects in its way of life, its way of being. He does not seek to be humble, and it seems he does not seek to be anything at all.
In his bumbling way, his path simply builds, a lesson of humble.
While searching for the simpler things in life, he rises before man.
The story says that he literally flies, and dates from the 17th century.

It's interesting that people who claim to have seen him fly, tell different things. In the same event they tell him flew at very different heights. This may lead us to wonder if he really flew. But for me it makes the things more interesting. Reality builds in people's eyes, and in the same way they saw him bumbling, they saw him flying. The true reality exists in the heart, and the Lord who see everything give things its places. What we call reality is a feature of our minds, and the fact that the Lord can create different realities to different eyes, give me a hope that even me being unable to be humble, the reality of my eyes can be transformed in a way that I become truly humble. With the glory of the Father...

"For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” (Luke 14:11)
