The Only Way I've Yet Discovered To Observe The Meeting of Parallel Lines
Find a mirror. Entertain, for a moment or three, the Narcissistic in you (knowing that you will soon simply drop it and that all is well), and experiment in the following way with self-contemplation:
Tune the focus of your two eyes such that you look beyond the mirror, and the composite image your brain produces will be a comical-seeming three-eyed vision of yourself.
Now, taking tremendous primary care in following each breath by another, remember something obvious and self-evident about geometry: parallel lines never meet.
What you witness, with the miracle that is your Body, is the right eye pointing solely at itself, and the left eye pointing solely at itself, and the two phenomena impossibly delivered for your immediate experience.
Look at this meeting of parallel lines and Know Thyself.
