Discovering Your Unique Gifts - Part 1

There is no one; no matter how insignificant they may look; that is without unique gifts. Everyone is endowed with a measure of gift, but it is left for them to discover the gifts and trade with them. Even though people may not like your face, but if you have the solution to the bugging questions of their life, they cannot but send for you - that is why you need to discover the area you are gifted in, because that is why your fulfilment lies.

There many ways to discover your unique giftings, here we will be looking at a few of them:

1. The Passion That Drives You

There are things that you feel naturally drawn to do even if you are not paid to do it. Also, there are some areas you will not feel comfortable if something is not done properly or you can even spot minutest shortcomings and detailed flaws in something - this can be a pointer to where your gift lies.

For example; someone could be so dress-conscious that they can point out errors in style, and colour mismatch. This could be a pointer that they are called into the fashion world. Another person could feel naturally tilted to play football, even if they are not paid they would still play - this could be a pointer that they are gifted in playing football. Can I tell you this? Even if Messi or Ronaldo isn't paid to play football, they will still play football, because this is their gift.

2. People's View

Even though this can be tricky, but people around you can help you discover your gifts. Sometimes, if you speak, you will send everyone rolling on the floor with laughter, and people around you will always say "hey, you are so funny" - this could point to you that you might be gifted to be a stand-up comedian.

Sometimes, people could have a very honest view about you that you are yet to discover yourself, just be sensitive to discern which one is right. The truth is; they can see something that you might not have seen yet, so do not be too quick to knock off people's opinion about you.
