Gratitude; Deep Within

For the friends I've made over the years, for family, for the challenges that made me stronger, for the gift of life, for the corrections that made me wiser, for the blessings that added to my joy, and many more, I'm eternally grateful.

When you look back at your life, there cannot, but be at least one reason that would make you grateful. If not for anything, but the ability to draw in air; is more than an enough reason. You may not have arrived at the place you've planned to be, but if you'll be fair to life, you would acknowledge the fact that you have moved some steps further from where you used to be; and for that, you need to be grateful.

Maybe you've tried a thing and the required result wasn't forthcoming - well, you still have life right? So try again, until, maybe you're dead, lol. As long as there's still life within you, be grateful.

Can I tell you something? What you think you're disadvantaged at could be your access point to something great. Take an instance of the man; Nick Vujicic; that was born without the forelimb and hind limb, but that has been the center of his message to the entire world "ability in disability". And with this, he has entered into places that would normally have been almost impossible for him to walk into if he had complete limbs. Maybe you can take a quick look at this video, and tell me if you (with complete set of limbs) won't see any reason at all to be grateful.

So you see, there must be a reason whatsoever to be grateful. Don't focus your attention on the areas that you're short-changed, but on areas where you've got advantages - and by that you're turning the "enemy" to become your "ally".
