Rising From Your Errors

in #life5 years ago

You may not be immune to errors; after all, as humans, you are susceptible to some errors here and there. Making errors may not be considered criminal or very bad in most cases, but continuing in the same errors over and again. When you err, do you look for excuses to cover your track or do you retrace your steps?

You might hear something like; "what was I supposed to do?" "is it my fault?" "it was beyond my control" and all, but these are all statements of excuse. The first step is to acknowledge your mistakes and move towards making things right. It is better to say something like; "okay I did not get it right, but how do I fix this?". It will show that, at least, you have taken responsibilities for your errors.

One of the marks of maturity is the responsibilities you are willing to take, and that includes the responsibilities for your actions and errors. Blaming someone else for your errors only indicates immaturity.

When you trade blames with others for your errors, the errors will not solve themselves, and they will still be there staring you in the face. More so, you are bound to make the same mistakes repeatedly because you did not even acknowledge the mistake in the first place.

The purpose of errors is to serve as instructional materials to drive us towards perfection. That is why, when you make errors, you need to learn from them to improve yourself and you will not repeat the same errors the next time.

If you refuse to tell yourself the absolute truth why you made the errors in the first place, trust me, you might make the same error again. So guys, when errors are made, ride on them to become better.

Thanks for reading

Peace on y'all
